RTB 2010

// January 20th, 2010 // No Comments » // News

…the chat has already started, will the Annual Bass Cup be going back to Otis’s trophy cabinet or coming home to the Popper Rod (a popular winner in 2008!).

So my fishy friends, what will it be? After Otis’s flukey score in 2009 the Popper is desperate to make a comeback in the bass hunting grounds of north cornwall. Our first outing is planned for late feb which happens to overlap Rod’s birthday. I fully intend to be drinking a birthday mohito in Jamie Olivers’ gaff having beached a heryowge 10lb silver belly in the golden seam! ….Bring it on Otey you smelly bottom fisher!

But maybe the biggest question of all for 2010, will this be the re-emergence of a truly unique fisherman, one who likes to fish very very close to the shore, yes…..will this be the RETURN OF BARBEL!
